Earlier this semester, I received a press pass to go to Fair Grounds Race Course & Slots to cover “Exotic Racing,” an event where jockeys raced ostriches and camels. I brought along some friends and we cheered along with the crowd as we watched the animals speed down the raceway — we had a lot of fun.
